Meet our Managing Partners
Cindy Ridley, CIR, has a passion and experience for being a resource to client companies as they expand, grow and develop their employees. For 10 years of her career she owned and operated Human Resource Staffing, Inc. in Minnesota firm directing large scale HR projects and staffing human resources professionals into such clients as Target Corporation, The Bergquist Companies, United Healthcare, Memorial Blood Centers, Comcast, Pearson, and Graco. Previous to this, she was an HR Practice Leader with RSM McGladrey, heading their HR consulting team, contract HR consulting team and Executive Search. Her early career was as an Executive Recruiter for Sathe and Associates Executive Search Firm in MN and Honeywell Advanced Circuits as an HR Generalist.
Cindy is a board member of the Leading Edge Human Resource Network (LEHRN) and for the past three years has directed the region’s largest HR Tech Expo and Conference. Ms. Ridley is also a frequent volunteer at Opportunity Partners working with their disabled clients, readying them for placement in the workforce.
Cindy obtained her bachelor’s degree from Miami University, attended Cleveland State University towards an MLRHR and was PHR certified in 1995. Her recruiting and talent management background enables her to understand the best fit for her candidates and clients.
Janey Gohl, MSOD, SPHR, has focused her career in Human Resources, Organization Development and Change Management for more than 15 years. She developed this career atop a legal career as a business franchise attorney. She’s worked in a variety of industries including renewable energy technologies, healthcare, government, professional services, medical insurance, nonprofits, and manufacturing.
Her love of learning and teaching was satisfied as adjunct faculty for St. Thomas University and the University of Denver, CO. She earned her global leadership wings as a charter board member for the nonprofit, Books for Africa. Her current volunteerism is dedicated to the Ordway Performing Arts Center. She’s a softie for dogs.
Ms. Gohl holds a Masters of Science in Organization Development from the top-ranked Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from St. Cloud State University where she served on its alumni board, and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Her ability to see issues from behavioral, process, and legal perspectives provides a unique value to her clients.

Annette Scotti, MA-HRIR, co-founder and advisor has over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources as director, trainer, and consultant. She has consulted with executives and mid-level management at regional and national organizations in industries including financial services, engineering, banking, health care, communications services, nonprofit and education.
Ms. Scotti is also frequent presenter on topics in change management, social media in the workplace, leadership, and team work. She has been teaching since 1998, and currently is an assistant professor teaching HR and MA courses at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Graduate and Professional Programs. In 2010 she received the distinguished award of “Outstanding Faculty Member” out of 400 instructors. Further she designed and delivered the first Leadership Academy for the Minnesota School Association of Business Professionals.
Ms. Scotti holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota’s Honors Program. She also has received formal Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching through The Coaches Training Institute of California.

As the award-winning author of “America’s Conscience: Facing threats to Democracy, The Middle Class, Our World, Bernadette loves to conduct ‘Ethics for Leaders’ trainings.
David uses his love of and talent in Theater production to bring our Leadership Academy’s ‘Authentic Voice’ module for improving public presentation skills of our participants.
When we need to bring in a Project Management specialist, we call on Peter. Peter brings in ‘Successful Projects through People’ modules and PM skills for new Project Managers and high-performing teams.
Barb brings wonderful activities to our training modules such as ‘Working through the Generations’ or ‘EQ: Emotional Quotient’ and our participants have the chance to learn and practice new skills.
Dan is currently the only Certified Transformative Mediator (certified by the ISCT) in Minnesota and is an attorney. He works with our training participants on ‘Conflict and Negotiation’.
Dave’s signature sales training is around ‘Cultivating Courage’ and the ‘Trust Edge’. Especially great for Sales teams.
Our own Janey is our curriculum developer and leader series coordinator. She delivers training around ‘Trust’, ‘Managing Change’ and P.A.C.E. (Personal and Company Effectiveness)
